A lot of companies have goofy looking logos. It is like they handed off the job to someone halfway across the world who knew nothing about the companies, and left them come up with something. However, the good logos are obviously done by people who know what it is that the company is offering as well as what makes them tick. Traditionally that type of logo design was out of the budget limits of some smaller companies. However, there is a place out there designing logos that is more than affordable. Also, they take the time to get to know about the company before they begin to make a logo.

There is actually a whole lot that goes into good logo design for small and big companies. First and foremost is simplicity of design. You do not want a complicated logo. You just want a simple logo that can be instantly recognized even from a distance. If you look at the major corporate logos that cost thousands of dollars to design, you will see what I mean. Think about the sport shoe company that has a swoosh design for a logo. Read the rest of this entry »

I spent most of the day changing things on the set I built. I did what I was told. I fixed up this old house so that it looked right for the period of the film, according to what they told me to do. I had to make some shutters of a specific type. They had a historian there working as a consultant and he showed me some pictures, old ones that dated back from the Civil War. The place was supposed to look like a farm house of that period would and as best I understood it, that was what it looked like. However the guy who was directing the movie showed up and wanted something that was different. Read the rest of this entry »

bond on brickell is the place that you go if you want to get the best in business. If you want some second rate product than you should go elsewhere because these guys know waht they are doing, and their price reflects that. I am perfectly ok with paying a little bit extra to get the very best as I am sure a lot of others of you are. Some people just can not afford to pay for the best, and that is ok. This is just not the place for you is all. They offer the best service and they expect the best price. Read the rest of this entry »

My wife and I are looking to purchase a house that is located in Plainsboro, NJ, which is close to where both of us work. We currently have a bit of a commute, and buying a house in Plainsboro would reduce the amount of time it takes us to get to our respective jobs. That would be a good thing. Anyway, I am on the web to find whatever I can out about homeowners insurance for Plainsboro NJ. This will be the first time that I have bought a house, and there is really a lot of information to learn and absorb.

It is more complicated of a process than I realized, before I first started to look into buying a house. Read the rest of this entry »

When my grandparents decided to move into a condo, we were all surprised. They have lived in the same three bedroom house for the last 50 years, but they were tired of the maintenance on it. Since we all had our own places, they decided to sell it. They had a buyer faster than anyone thought possible, and they hadn’t even found a condo yet. I asked them to move in with me while they searched, and I showed them store-friendly.com.sg before they said yes or no. I wanted them to know that they did not have to give up anything if they decided to sell to the person who wanted to take immediate ownership.

Since they did not know how many square feet their new place would have or how many total rooms, they had no idea which pieces of furniture to take with them and which to give away or sell. I didn’t want them making this decision without knowing how much they would need for themselves. Read the rest of this entry »

Over the years, the exterior of my home had become run down. It was like my home was an abandoned ghost house in the middle of a perfect suburban neighborhood. My home definitely stood out among the other homes, but not in a good way. I started to get worried about how the other people in the neighborhood looked at my home. I was determined to get exterior restoration in nyc.

One weekend, I started searching through every listing for anyone qualified to do exterior restoration on my home. I got a lot of results, but I was sure that everyone one of them wasn’t qualified to do restoration. Read the rest of this entry »

When super storm Sandy came around a few years ago I had no idea if we were going to be able to survive the night. The water had come up to a really high point in our house and I did not know if we were going to be able to make it. There were a lot of people that told me that they saw our cars float away and that scared me. After the damage was done, we went out to see that we had no roof and roof repair in new york city was going to be very hard to get since there were so many people in our area that did not have a roof left on their house any more. I moved into a gorgeous house but the owner before me used the most hideous wall paper on the walls of the home and I could not believe how gross it was. It was pink and green flowers everywhere and it did not match anything that I had. Not to mention, it dated the house a lot. I hired a painter in bergen county nj to come into the house and tell me how much it was going to cost him to steam down the wall paper off of all the walls. I wanted to make sure that I was going to be able to use the walls without a lot of damage to them. Read the rest of this entry »

Miami is one of the most beautiful cities that I have ever visited; you wouldn’t know it, but if you’ve never watched the documentary “Cocaine Cowboys” you would have no idea that much of the city’s development is due to the money that came from the cocaine trade in the sixty, seventies and eighties! After watching this documentary, it encouraged me to visit the city that I suddenly found myself fascinated by. I had been in the market for a home and on an impulse, I visited a bay house miami during the first week while I was there. I fell in love instantly. Read the rest of this entry »

I am not quite on the Corpus Crisit Bay, but I am setting about a hundred yards from the navigable head of this little creek that drains in to the bay. We bought the land a few months ago and started making a plan, because it is vulnerable to hurricanes in theory. Actually it is above the flood plain as it sits upon a nice hillock. I went to http://energyproviderstexas.com and figured out who could give me the best deal on my electricity. However I also figured out what I would need to do for it to make me somewhat able to withstand a hurricane. So I installed a nice back up generator. It will cut on if the power goes off and it is set up to run on natural gas. In fact I have natural gas heat, gas stove and oven, and a solar water heater. I can not run the whole house on the generator, but it is going to run all of the stuff that I need. That means you have the Fridge and the water pumping from the well.

Of course the big thing is probably going to be keeping the house cool if there is not any power, but I sort of dug the bottom of the house into the side of that hill. It is a split level house and of course the bottom level is going to be insulated from the heat and cold by the earth that basically surrounds it on three sides. You can save a lot of energy like that, especially if you use that part of the house for the main living areas of the house. The part that you use the most are the parts that you need to keep warm in the winter and cool in the Summer.
